Thirsk Community Care and The Clock in partnership have two new exciting opportunities to join our excellent teams.
- Dementia Day Service Coordinator – 13 hours per week £21,166 pa (pro rata) £10.97 per hour
- Dementia Day Service Support Worker – 12 hours per week £18,426 pa (pro rata) £9.55 per hour
The Clock and Thirsk Community Care are launching a new Dementia Day Service to support carers of those living with Dementia in the local area. These new roles will be key to the successful delivery of the Service which is part of a Hambleton wide project to ensure that there is dementia day support 5 days a week. We want to offer an enriching and rewarding experience and are looking for passionate people to help make this possible.
Will be responsible for the day to day operations of the service, supporting clients living with Dementia, in accordance with their individual needs, and the organising and supervision of staff and volunteers.
The Support Worker
Will carry out operational requirements, supporting clients with Dementia in accordance with their individual needs and support the Coordinator in their duties.
Candidates should be self-directed but able to follow instructions working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be an excellent communicator, competent in the use of ICT and keen to continue to develop skills, knowledge and experience to improve the quality of services delivered by you and your colleagues. An enhanced DBS check and two references will also be required.
